We are Dan, Lauren, and Caden - a midwestern family who finds joy in exploring new places. Actual vacations are a small fraction of our year, so we spread that joy out by making the most of preparing for trips and preserving the memories when we are home.

We hope this site provides you with some tips for planning your next vacation or at least sparks some ideas for destinations to add to your travel wishlists!

We are NOT:

• Picture perfect. We are also not perfect picture takers.

• Extremely adventurous. If you want to read about jumping out of a helicopter to scuba with sharks, that's probably not going to be here. 

• Without a budget. We work hard to pay our bills and if we have any left, we save up and plan a trip! Some years it is Paris. A lot of years it's much closer to home.
